Full time accountant

Applications welcome from UAE-based and overseas candidates willing to relocate QAF Legal is seeking a capable، organised accountant to take responsibility for the day-to-day accounts of our small law firm

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books، general ledger entries and supporting records.

• Prepare client invoices، allocate receipts and professionally follow up outstanding fees.

• Reconcile bank accounts، client and supplier balances، and petty cash.

• Prepare payroll and maintain expense records.

• Complete month-end closing and prepare profit and loss، balance sheet، cash-flow and receivables reports.

• Maintain tax records and coordinate VAT، corporate tax and year-end

• Work confidently with our accounting software and digital practice-management system. What we’re looking for

• A degree in Accounting or Finance، or a relevant professional accounting qualification.

• At least three years of relevant، hands-on accounting experience.

• Demonstrated ability to manage accounts independently through month-end closing.

• Very good written and spoken English، including the ability to explain financial information clearly and communicate professionally with clients.

• Accuracy، confidentiality، sound judgment and consistent follow-through

• Current location and willingness to relocate، if applicable.

• A brief explanation of your experience independently managing a company’s accounts

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills and practical experience with Zoho Books، QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.

• ACCA، CA، CMA or equivalent qualifications، including progress towards qualification، are also advantageous

• Updated CV and accounting qualifications.
