Key Responsibilities

• Re-advertise Save the Children International Vacancy No: 16852 Section/Unit: Finance No. of Post: 1 Duty Station: Country Office Duration: 12 Months Closing Date: 14 Nov 2026 Background: ROLE PURPOSE: As Finance Officer � Grants and Partnerships، you will work with the country finance team and SCI�s implementing partners on key issues and opportunities to find and implement financial management solutions at the country office level to continually improve SCI�s operational platform and ensure compliance with SCI�s quality framework essential standards

• Demonstrate strong strategic financial management skills

• Strong analytical، problem solving and financial modelling skills and the ability to present complex financial information in a succinct and compelling manner

You will have a key role in the stewardship of agency assets and reputation by ensuring compliance with local laws، regulations، member/donor

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Registration of SCI�s partners on the organization�s accounting system (Agresso) after reviewing the necessary documentation

Coordinate with the Accounts Payables team to process partners payments

Review partners liquidations before submitting to the Finance Manager � Grans and Partnerships for posting

Ensure all supporting documents are properly filed in hard copies and digitally on SharePoint

Provide technical support and troubleshooting to local partners

Ensure all internal financial tools are correctly used to strengthen data quality and efficiencies and where necessary develop additional tools and solutions

Support country to meet and sustain all essential standards for financial management and ensure that countries comply with SCI�s financial policies and procedures

AND EXPERIENCE Accounting degree. Relevant full professional

(CPA/CA/ACCA) is preferable

Minimum of 2 years� progressive work experience in financial management، audit or compliance role in Not-for-profit organizations

Experience of solving complex issues through analysis، definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy-in

Strong results orientation، with the ability to challenge existing mind-sets

Experienced in preparing both financial and management accounts، including overseas offices

Strong relationship builder with a proven track record in forming good business partnerships

Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures

An unquestionably high level of integrity and ethics

Computer fluency، highly competent using MS Word، Excel، PowerPoint، and experience working in complex financial systems

The personal circumstances to travel frequently to all field programmes in the country
